Hazel Sheffield is a British journalist living and writing in New York. Hazel graduated from Durham University, England, with first class honours in History in 2008. Since, she has written for publications including: The Guardian, The Observer, The Telegraph, The Financial Times, The Economist, Intelligent Life Magazine, the BBC, NME, Stylist, The Stool Pigeon, The Quietus, Abeano, Virgin, the Columbia Journalism Review.
Hazel was the Fulbright Alistair Cooke Scholar at Columbia University, New York, 2011-2012. She graduated with an MS in digital media from the journalism school, where she made a documentary about a record store that was bought by Capital New York and the BBC.
